Of course you could save every English help page on the website by clicking every link but it seems easier to do a proper install and copy the help files. Unfortunately, this means the English version of Help will open when you select Contents from the Mp32tag Help menu, but if you select any other Help subjects from within the program the German pages will still open (obviously, because the German versions are still in the help folder). Go to and save the page as index.html and overwrite the German one in the help folder of the portable version. Go to and view the English help files online.ģ. Continue to use the old method of installing and copying the install folder (or just the help folder to your portable installation).Ģ. There are three ways to get around this:ġ. Uninstall the new Mp3tag and instal the first version that support 'ITUNESOWNER' tag modification (v2.78) -Uninstall that version, clean all the system and registry, reboot, install that v2.78 again, uninstall it again, clean system and registry and install. As we aren't using the installer the default language isn't being installed as English so the help files will default to German. I did this to make sure wat it could be: -Check with old and new '.m4a' audio files. Make sure to only delete the duplicates and not the neutral files, those files that are for both 'DE' and 'EN', there will only be one file of a given name when neutral. 'DE' users will want to remove all '_1' files when using 'auto rename'. If 'DE' is what you're after use 'auto rename', this will rename all the 'EN' files, adding '_1' to the name. 'EN' users will want to remove all '_1' files when using 'auto rename existing.'. \help, if memory serves me right, index_1.html should be 'DE'. An easy way to test is to open the index.html file in. All you can do is wait until prapper updates the package to point to the new installer (mp3tagv264setup.exe) or - if you feel capable - unpack the paf (its a simple archive so 7zip will do), rearrange it to the PA.c specs (you may refer to the Application Template) and edit the installer. So, for those who want English will use 'auto rename existing files', this should rename all 'DE' duplicates, adding '_1'. I believe when there are duplicates 'DE' extracts first then 'EN'. Don't make it harder than need be, using 7-Zip v9.20 works very good on this installer, just use the correct 'rename' function before extraction - this is what works pretty good to date.
